Kids and Family
There's absolutely no doubt that AlburyCity makes a big priority of our smaller residents. We provide a wide range of childcare and community services for families, including:
- Banjora Childrens Centre
- Albury Family Day Care
- Out of School Hours (OOSH)
- Vacation Care and Pupil Free Days
In conjunction with the Albury Community Health Centre, AlburyCity provides free Immunisation Clinics on a monthly basis, with both day and evening clinics offered to suit working parents.
For older kids and teenagers, Albury has five Community Centres as well as the Council owned and operated Retro Youth Café.
We also support and facilitate a number of community events including the annual Carols by Candlelight concert, Australia Day festivities, Youth Week and School Holidays activities, Cinema Under The Stars, and much more.
When it's time for a family outing, the City offers more than 460 hectares of parks and reserves, with much of this land located along the magnificent Murray - perfect for picnicking, bushwalking, fishing, waterskiing, kayaking or canoeing.
So much open space, so much fresh air. Is it any wonder few places can come close to Albury for raising a family?
