Plans of Management
Council must prepare plans of management for all community land in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993 and the Local Government Amendment (Community Land Management) Act 1998.
Generic plans of management are used for a number of land parcels distributed throughout the local government area that all have a common purpose.
AlburyCity has nine generic Plans of Management for Community Land:
- Sportsfields
- Parks
- Small Parks and Playgrounds
- Drainage
- Miscellaneous Sites
- Miscellaneous Sites - Leased
- Natural
- Undeveloped
- Scenic
Where the management of land is more complex a site specific Plan of Management should be developed. AlburyCity has one site specific Plan of Management - Greenfield Park.
Council will be reviewing and updating the Plans of Management in 2013/14. This process will include a Community Engagement process.
For further information or a copy of a Plan of Management please contact the Public Information Officer on 02 6023 8111.
