There are more than 120,000 items recorded in the city collection, with a selection of these displayed at the LibraryMuseum.

AlburyCity is responsible for the preservation of these items which include pieces of historical and sociological significance to Albury, and many collections that are generously donated or on permanent loan.

Community members are invited to uncover treasurers from the Collection. AlburyCity is seeking community members to work with staff in selecting works from the museum, social history and visual art collections to be re-interpreted by four contemporary artists for the Mining the Collection exhibition.

Guided Tours at the LibraryMuseum

1st Sunday of the month at 2pm

 

Come and enjoy a free guided tour of our stunning exhibition The Crossing Place - a story of Albury provided by one of our dedicated volunteers.  The tour runs for approximately half an hour and covers a brief overview of the building, temporary exhibitions and the Crossing Place exhibition.
