Financial Reports 2008/2009
In accordance with Section 481 (3) of the Local Government Act 1993, AlburyCity advises that the Ordinary Council Meeting to be held on 19 October will include the presentation of the audited Financial Reports and the Auditors Reports for the financial year ending 30 June 2009.

Copies of the financial reports are also available at the Customer Service Centre, 553 Kiewa Street Albury, the Albury Library Museum and Lavington Library.
In accordance with Section 420 of the Local Government Act 1993, submissions regarding these financial statements or auditor's report must be lodged within 7 days of the Council meeting, addressed to Director Corporate Services at info@alburycity.nsw.gov.au, or PO Box 323, Albury 2640.
Olive and Atkins Street Roundabout
As part of the Federal Government and Council's on going commitment to improving the City's road network and the elimination of designated "blackspots", the intersection of Olive and Atkins Streets has been identified for construction of a roundabout.
The construction will include:
- water and sewer main relocation,
- drainage upgrade,
- footpath construction,
- kerb and gutter removal and replacement,
- road pavement reconstruction, and
- tree removal as required.
During the early part of the construction phase of approximately four weeks (water/sewer mains, footpaths, kerb and channel) it will be necessary to close the intersection to all traffic from Monday to Saturday between 7.00am and 6.00pm. During the latter part of the construction phase of approximately four weeks (road pavement and centre island work) it will be necessary to close the intersection on a full time basis.

At its meeting on Monday 28 September 2009, Council considered a report in relation to the Draft Code of Meeting Practice and resolved to place this document on public exhibition for a period of 28 days.

AlburyCity is seeking the services of a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) to coordinate the NSW Local Government Association Conference held in Albury in October 2010.
Interested PCOs should have a proven track record in managing large scale conferences including planning, finance, registration and accommodation.
