The Sum of Us trail is a chance to look beyond mere aesthetics and explore the rich stories behind objects that could easily be overlooked. Nine local collections – Albury LibraryMuseum, the Flying Fruit Fly Circus, Hothouse Theatre, Jindera Pioneer Museum, Culcairn Station House Museum, Wymah Museum, Holbrook Submarine Museum, Woolpack Inn Museum and Headlie Taylor Header Museum – have each chosen an item that best depicts the theme: quirky domestic.

Each of these unpolished gems has a story connecting us to something more. Having debuted with a collective exhibition at the Albury LibraryMuseum, it forms a trail across the Albury – Greater Hume Region, with each unique object, story and photograph on display.

This project is an initiative of the AlburyCity and Greater Hume Shire Regional Museums Advisor Program. It is supported by Arts NSW’s Country Arts Support Program, a devolved funding program administered by Regional Arts NSW and local Regional Arts Development Organisations on behalf of the NSW Government.
