How we dress is highly influenced by the time and society we live in. Albury has a long history of woollen, textiles and clothing manufacture. Companies such as Macquarie Worsteds and Adelyn Clothing had great economic and community influence. This display showcases factories, dressmakers and manufacturers that influenced not only how people dressed but also the working and social lives of the people of Albury.
