Join Geoff Weule and Mark Holden as they talk about their latest books, which cover their time in the music business – including behind the scenes of the Australian music industry in the 20th century and the early days of this century.

Once upon a Record, Albury boy Geoff Weule’s new book, takes us behind the scenes of an industry that holds a fascination for many. For over 50 years, Geoff has had an enviable career in the music industry and has helped to shape and guide not only artists’ careers but also the record companies behind them.

Mark Holden's memoir My Idol Years covers Mark’s unique journey in the Australian music and TV industries, including insights into his family life and ageing in the public eye. After having a premonition in 2006 that 2007 would be his last year on Australian Idol, Mark kept a revealing record of what happened behind the scenes. That diary is at the centre of this hugely entertaining portrait of his rollercoaster life.
