Honour for Visitor Information Centre

Albury's Visitor Information Centre has been recognised at the 2016 Regional Tourism Awards.

The Regional Awards include Regional Tourism Organisations of the Murray, Riverina and Inland, which includes Broken Hill to the west and extends to the NSW Queensland border to the North.

The centre won bronze in the Visitor Information Services category at the weekend in Echuca-Moama.

Albury’s Visitor Information Centre assists more than 21,700 people a year.

The winner was Echuca-Moama Visitor Information Centre and silver was awarded to Liverpool Plains Visitor Information Centre, in Willow Tree.

Albury's The River Deck won gold in the Tourism Restaurants and Catering Services category.

Great Aussie Holiday Park, at Bowna, received bronze in the Caravan and Holiday Parks category.

The River Deck and Great Aussie Holiday Park are both visitALBURYWODONGA tourism partners.
