Get involved in Seniors Week

04 April 2016

We're celebrating NSW Seniors Week, 1-10 April, with a range of activities from croquet to tai chi, movies, walks and metal and woodwork at the men's shed. You can find a full list of local activities on our website.

A statewide event, it is the largest festival for seniors in the Southern Hemisphere and now goes for 10 days. The theme for this year's event is 'Grow Young'. No matter what your age, it's never too late to grow – to learn, to laugh and to be inspired.

Presented by the Department of Family and Community Services, the NSW Seniors Festival celebrates and recognises seniors for the contributions they make to the NSW community.

You can find out more about local activities on our website at www.nswseniorsfestival.com.au or collect a program from your local library or our Kiewa Street offices
