The Tap Pack is coming to town!
The Tap Pack is heading to Albury Entertainment Centre on 10 October and you're invited to the party.
Inspired by the unforgettable live shows of the "Rat Pack" featuring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr this is a new show of old classics combined with a fresh twist – tap.
Albury Entertainment Centre manager Brendan Maher said The Tap Pack was an entertaining night out and featured songs including "The Lady is a Tramp" and "Come Fly With Me" mixed with slick humour, sharp suits and high-energy tap dancing.
"These guys sing, joke and - above all - tap up a storm," he said. "This is a show inspired by the legends of yesteryear but created for the audience of today."
The Tap Packstars Jesse Rasmussen, Thomas J Egan, Ben Brown, Sean Mulligan with ChristopherHorsey. Between them, they have performed in almost every musical that has toured Australia over the past 20 years.
Tap Pack Creative Director Jesse Rasmussen said: "I danced in Albury with Hot Shoe Shuffle, the David Atkins musical, and I'm really looking forward to returning to the Border with our very own show The Tap Pack."
Fellow member Thomas Egan said he remembered Albury fondly from his dance eisteddfod days and looked forward to TheTap Pack giving Albury residents a great night out.
"Join us as we swingify new songs, jazz up the old ones and tap beats so cool, you won't need ice in your drink," he said.
