Have a say on George St traffic trial
Residents are again invited to have their say about a traffic trial to reduce the volume and speed of traffic in George St, Albury.
As part of the trial, a central median strip was installed in Kiewa St near Albury High School, between Guinea and Crisp streets, to prevent motorists turning right from Kiewa St into George St and right from George St into Kiewa St.
Two sets of speed cushions were also be installed in George St, between Olive and David streets, to reduce the speed of vehicles using George St.
Council was responding to the concerns of residents and has been monitoring traffic flow and speed in George St.

Feedback and data from the traffic trial will be presented and discussed with the Local Traffic Committee, which will make a recommendation to Council.
