Exhibition for budding scientists

16 December 2015

Children can learn about astronomy, the atmosphere and our planet Earth at Earth Quest, an interactive exhibition from Questacon at the LibraryMuseum and Lavington Library until 14 February.

Earth Quest's activities ask the questions: Do we have seasons? How did mountains form? How have animals adapted to life in different climates? How do scientists know what's at the centre of the Earth when we can't dig deeper than 12 kilometres below ground?

Through interactive play, children and their families can explore the fascinating world of Science in a fun and engaging way.

Earth Quest is best suited to children eight years and over and there are a host of other programs planned to keep kids of all ages cool and entertained over the hot summer break.

There are art camps at MAMA, PlayStation Motocross Enduro at the Lavington Library, family films and craft activities at both libraries, a Summer Reading Club and much more.
