Border Bash Location & Transport Options

The Border Bash will be held at the Lavington Sports Ground, 1 Hanna Street, Hamilton Valley. The Lavington Sports Ground is the region's premier sporting venue. It holds up to 15,000 spectators, including 1200 in the undercover grand stand and has floodlighting for night games.

Parking is available on-site in addition to bus services to and from the ground.

Dysons Buslines and AlburyCity have again teamed up to provide a shuttle service for the Border Bash on Tuesday 12 December. There is an extensive, all-day schedule servicing Albury and Wodonga. The link below provides further information on fares and timetable scheduling.

Cricket Australia has advised that all venues for 2017/18 WBBL and KFC Big Bash matches will not be permitted to allow the use or sale of cans of soft drink or other beverages.  Cans are considered a risk to players and spectators.

Plastic or soft containers of water or soft drink only should be brought to or can be served at the Lavington Sports Ground on Tuesday night for Albury's Border Bash event.  The usual rules of no glass and no alcohol permitted to be brought into the ground apply.

As a result of the huge demand in 2016 there will be an increased food and beverage offer at this year's Border Bash at the Lavington Sports Ground with a variety of selections available at canteens, bbqs and from local food vendors.

Chairs and umbrellas will be permitted into the stadium with sunscreen and insect repellent stations also on site.
