Albury Wodonga Businesses - Are You Ready?
With just a year to go until the Australian Deaf Games in 2018, Albury Wodonga businesses are encouraged to get behind the games and start to prepare for the 1000 plus athletes, administrators and volunteers who will descend on the cities in January. The games are expected to generate up to $3 million in economic benefit to the cities.
For eateries, motels, bars, pubs and clubs its a great idea to start to think about how the cities' hospitality can be focussed on service for the deaf and hearing impaired customers. Similarly, retailers can expect a welcome boost to sales with the influx of visitors to the region.
It is important that businesses have plans in place to deliver great service and ensure that the Deaf Games participants experience our warm welcome and enjoy a fantastic stay on the border.
