Gallery and Past Programs

Every year the Learning and Outreach team hosts a huge range of learning, cultural and social programs including exhibitions, activities and performances. Below is a small sample of recent events.

The Seahorse Café 2016

An interactive children’s exhibition based on the works of Graeme Base. In this exhibition Children were transported into the worlds of Animalia, Mr Uno’s Garden and The Golden Snail. Each year a new, unique children’s exhibition is featured at the LibraryMuseum.

Coolections 2016

This exhibition explored an assortment of collections from year 7 students at Albury High School as they negotiated the transition from childhood to adolescence, from primary school to secondary school. Each student wrote a piece about their collection, detailing the importance of the collection and how they came to be a collector.

Write Around the Murray Schools Program 2016

2016 saw another spectacular WAM school program with over 1500 students participating in writing, illustration and poetry workshops with Jackie French, Bruce Whatley, Libby Gleeson, Benjamin Law, Emilie Zoey Baker, Jane Harrison, Fleur Ferris and more.
