Hidden within the shade and beauty of the Albury Botanic Gardens, the Mary Jeavons designed Children's Garden is a place where children can enjoy learning about the environment in a safe, creative and fun way, stimulating their imagination and providing a sense of wonder.
Ideal for families, the fully fenced Children's Garden will stimulate the senses through imagination, observation and play.
There are trails to explore and a wonderful array of items for children to discover.
Highlights include a life-sized dinosaur with interactive speaking tubes, living cubbies, a fairy temple, a wetland and creek line and a troll cave.
The newest element, a castle themed toilet was opened in 2015. To view a list of all the elements in the gardens Click here.
The project was a combined initiative of AlburyCity and the Friends of the Albury Botanic Gardens Working Group. A number of other contributors have assisted to make the Childrens Garden possible.
