Albury Development Control Plan 2010 – Changes to Development Notification Provisions
AlburyCity has endorsed a draft Amendment to the Development Notification Provisions of the Albury Development Control Plan 2010. The draft Amendment and other relevant exhibition documents are now on public exhibition for a minimum period of 28 days in accordance with the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979.
Council’s Development Notification Provisions provide the basis for how Council notifies Development Applications and changes to strategic planning policy (e.g. amendments to the LEP or DCP) and the means by which affected and adjoining landowners are notified.
AlburyCity has endorsed a draft Amendment to the Development Notification Provisions of the Albury Development Control Plan 2010.
The main change proposed is to remove the need for a hardcopy of plan(s) to be included with notification letters, noting these plans are available via Council’s ‘Application Tracking’ website and also in person at Council Offices. Some minor ‘housekeeping’ changes are also proposed to provide clarity and improve accuracy of existing provisions.
The revised Development Notification Provisions do not alter or amend the provisions for when an application is notified or who receives notification.
