A three year restoration project is being funded by the NSW Environmental Trust restoration and rehabilitation state and local grants program to restore endangered ecological communities on Albury's roadsides.
The project focuses on the roadside reserves of:
- Centaur Road
- Pearsall Street
- Overend Street
- Pannach Lane
- Mudge Street
These roadside corridors provide links from the large, unfragmented habitat of Nail Can Hill Flora & Fauna Reserve, across the Albury Ranges, to the Thurgoona Environmental Lands corridors.
Council will be inviting local residents to learn more about the native animals and wildflowers in the area to help protect these endangered communities.
