Our Service Coordinator
Meet Lisa Keighran, our Service Co-ordinator. Lisa has been with Albury Family Day Care for 18 years, where she has worked in a variety of roles. Lisa is responsible for the overall management of the service including overseeing the budget, licensing requirements, national quality standards, staff management and support to both educators and families. This ensures that children receive quality education and care. Lisa is also the nominated supervisor of the service.
Our Educator and Family Liaison Officer
Meet Glynis Richardson, our Educator and Family Liaison Officer. Glynis works with families and educator's to ensure the best care possible is being provided to children. Glynis has been working in the early childhood sector for more than 30 years and has a strong commitment to customer service. When our Service Coordinator is on leave Glynis relieves in this position. Glynis's qualifications include a Diploma of Children's Services, Certificate IV in Training and Assessing and Certificate IV in Frontline Management.
Our Child Development Coordinators
We have three Child Development Coordinators, better known as CDC's at Albury Family Day Care. Our CDC's are employed to visit our educators on a regular basis. Each CDC is responsible for their own group of educators. They provide support and training and are usually the first port of call for educator enquiries. Each CDC spends a morning per week delivering play-session to our educators. Our CDC's are all qualified with each staff member having a minimum Diploma in Children's Services.
Meet Sally Pocock. Sally has been with Albury Family Day Care since 2009 but has been working in the early childhood sector for more than 20 years. Sally finds her work at Albury Family Day care very rewarding, as she gets to spend time with people who are passionate about providing fantastic care to children and who are committed in ensuring the highest standard is achieved.
Meet Fiona Pearce. Fiona has been with Albury Family Day Care for five years. She is also the Educational Leader, working with staff and educators to inspire, motivate and challenge practices when developing programs for children and families. Fiona has been the Educational Leader for the last 2 years. Her recent project has focused on using iPads to document and record children's learning.
Meet Gayle Petts. Gayle has been with Albury Family Day Care for nearly 20 years. During her time at Family Day Care Gayle has seen many changes in her role. In 2015 Gayle celebrated a significant milestone of working 30 years with AlburyCity. Gayle has a Diploma of Children's Services and works part time on Thursday and Friday.
Our Administration Staff
At Albury Family Day Care we have Jenny and Narelle who look after all our administration requirements. They work in a job share arrangement with Jenny working Monday - Wednesday and Narelle working Thursday and Friday. Both Jenny and Narelle are the first people you will talk to when you contact Albury Family Day Care. Some important tasks Jenny and Narelle do on behalf of Albury Family Day Care are:
- Processing new family enrolments
- Submit attendance records to the relevant government departments
- Answer enquiries relating to fees and government subsidies
- Ensure children's immunisation information is up to date
- Customer service and liaising with families and educators
Meet Jenny Jacob. Jenny brings a wealth of experience to Albury Family Day Care and celebrated 30 years with the service in 2015. Jenny is passionate about Family Day Care and prides herself on offering a professional and proficient service to the educators and families who use Albury Family Day Care.
Meet Narelle McDonald, Narelle has been with Albury Family Day Care since 2009. Narelle says she finds the role both challenging and enjoyable and that developing a rapport with educators has been a significant part of her role in ensuring their needs are met. Narelle enjoys meeting new families and their children when they attend for interviews and then seeing how the children have grown and gained confidence when the children come back to play session.
